The Sweat Souldiers
The heart and *soul* of a Sweat Souldier is to look good, feel good and DO good. As a Beachbody coach, my team, the Sweat Souldiers, is able to to help others achieve their wellness goals while also giving back to two organizations supporting fitness and nutrition.
The Mission

Born out of something my mom said in passing, I realized helping women find joy while reaching their health, fitness goals, and financial freedom through our business wasn’t going to move the needle where a lot of the issues surrounding weight and health issues originate – childhood.
With childhood obesity becoming a national crisis and the activity level of children declining each year [as well as recess times shrinking], I want to be sure our efforts in the virtual gym aren’t in vain. Because of that, the mission and motto of the Sweat Souldiers team is:
“good things come FROM those who sweat”.
10% of my earnings are donated to No Kid Hungry and Project Fit America. This means every time a Sweat Souldier customer chooses to make their wellness a priority, the impact it is greater than any number appearing on a scale or tape measure.
The Organizations
No Kid Hungry
Like most mamas, it kills me when my children refuse the food on their plate. I absolutely hate throwing out plates of uneaten food, wasting produce, or disposing of leftovers. We are so incredibly blessed have not only food in our fridge, but healthy, nutrient dense options.
Over the last few months, my husband and I have become more aware of how food affects our children’s behavior, academics, and energy. While I am loading up my 7 year with chia seeds [super brain dots as he refers to them] and oats before state-wide testing, there’s a child preparing for that same test without a sufficient amount of food, let alone healthy food, to start their day with.
1 in 6 children in the United States lives with hunger.

Instead of the iconic parent rebuttal “there are children starving in Africa that would kill for this meal,” the Sweat Souldiers are responding to a crisis in our very own country and city, possibly happening in the home of the student sitting next to my child in class.
As of July 31st, Sweat Souldiers’ Sweat Aid has provided 390 nutritious and health meals to hungry children in the US.
Project Fit America
While earning my coach certification for the Ultimate Portion Fix and working on a whole family nutrition plan, I realized that none of my children qualify for an activity level above sedentary.
Currently, 80% of adolescents are not sufficiently physically active.

While calculating their range of container needs, I realized they are not the crazy active children I would have sworn. What’s worse? I’ve been feeding them like they are running basketball courts daily. The UPF module itself was a powerful mindset shift in terms of how quick we are to give snacks, plate carbs, and fill with their idle time with food.
I discovered Project Fit America through Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move initiative, a campaign to get kids active in schools across the country. PFA provides equipment and educational programs to selected schools that creates the opportunity for children to discover, improve, and explore fitness and the positive effects it has on your body and mind.
As of July 31st, Sweat Souldiers’ Sweat Aid has provided .2% of the $18,206 total funding needed for 1 school.
Sweat Aid Progression
I am incredibly passionate about the positive benefits of fitness and nutrition and total body wellness, and while these Sweat Aids seem small today, consistent effort over time leads to life-changing results.
In an effort for transparency, here is the progression of donations earmarked and the total amount Year To Date.
