Call Me A [Shoe] Carny
This past weekend while I was out [with no kids, whaaaat?], I popped into Shoe Carnival. I was looking for a Steve Madden-esque price point for a black cross flat sandal. It took me under a minute to locate the exact sandal I was hunting for. Exactly the same except for $14.99. I made a lap, as you do, and found a pair of knock-off Jack Rogers sandals for $15.99. I walked out of Shoe Carnival with two pairs for significantly under the price of one.
A Lesson in Logic
I posted my new cute cross sandals on IG stories yesterday and the feedback was jaw-dropping over the price of these trendy little flats. I believe frequently worn sandals [and shoes alike] are worth investing in. However, when it comes to trendy shoes that span a season, I see no reason to spend top dollar.
Sharing a handful of flat sandal dupes from Amazon today because:
2) No one is getting close enough to your feet to read the label.
3) At the end of the day, it’s frowned upon to spend your children’s college tuition on shoes.
