“You Can Never Have A Bad Day in Polka Dots.” – Kate Spade
STC and I are striving to snag one date night per month as a part of the Couple’s Goals we laid out for 2018 this past January. We bypassed April with a big ol’ goose egg for date nights, but somehow lucked into two [!!] for the month of May.
I grabbed these gorgeous pink Editor pants from Express before jetting off to Napa with my sister in 2016. Since the one-hit wonder wear, they’ve hung in my closet for two years. Luckily, dinner at Pat’s Steak House on Saturday was the perfect occasion to bring the bold vibes out of retirement.
A Few of My Favorite Things
Polka Dots and statement earrings can do no wrong in my stylebook. This Express Portofino sleeveless top is sophisticated and playful enough to multitask from office to evening. The material and cut of the neckline do not restrict movement. Unlike so many collared blouses, this one is sexy and not starchy.
Block Party
Oh gosh, y’all. If you haven’t bought into the block heel yet, now’s the time. They are so comfortable, the height is just right and it is such a welcomed transition from the winter pump to the summer wedge sandal. These block heels by A New Day for Target are a steal at under $30 and come in a three different shades. I am living for them right now.
