Can’t Quit You, Boo
This Universal Threads wrap dress won’t quit. I can’t even believe all the ways and number of seasons this $24.00 dress can style through. I think you’ll love me/it even more, when I tell you it’s straight from Tar-jay. I’ve got one wrap dress, two seasons, and three looks so let’s get down to business.
Look 1: Hot Summer Day
The Details
Wrap Dress: Target // T-Shirt: Target // Skirt: Target // Earrings: Target
Shoes: Nordstrom Rack – DSW // Bracelet: Similar
This look first appeared in my 10 Denim Must-Haves last week. I absolutely adore the way the statement tee plays off the floral pattern. The denim skirt is stretchy, but runs TTS. Almost the entire look is available at Target right now and under $100.
Look Two: Cool Mornings, Hot Afternoons
The Details
Wrap Dress: Target // Sweater: Nordstrom // Earrings: Target
Booties: Nordstrom Rack // Shades: H&M // Handbag: H&M [Similar]
This layered look can be your ace in from the frozen tundra of your office to a 5 o’clock happy hour on the patio. I talked a lot about this $10 handbag in my post last week. Transparency alert: I did score this Nordstrom cocoon sweater during the Anniversary Sale which is now over. I feel like a bad blogger for not getting this post to you sooner so you could snag the deal too. If you’re a real penny-pincher like me, keep checking the Nordstrom site for price drops during the fall.
Look 3: Full on Fall
The Details
Wrap Dress: Target // Denim Jacket: H&M // White Blouse: Target
Necklace: Target [Similar] // Booties: DSW [Similar] // Handbag: H&M
I made my mom laugh while shopping last week when I ended everything with “you could even throw a denim jacket on it“, but if there’s one piece you buy this fall, let it be the “jean jacket”. I really love this one from H&M because it’s stretchy, cropped, fitted and comfortable. The price point isn’t a bank breaker at $35. My booties are a few seasons old so I linked up some similar finds.
While it’s hard to get jazzed about a sweater when it’s 95 degrees outside, as a blogger, I must! I’ve got major back-to-school on the brain and am gravitating to warmer colors when shopping. I’m not ready to trade in my neon brights for sweaters just yet.
I’ll still be working in summer looks into my Instagram feed while the blog posts focus more on pieces that can work for both seasons. I’d really love to know [in the comments] if this is 1-2-3 wrap dress is a style you’d invest in for summer & fall.
