I’m back with another post laying out three ways to wear one item. You may recognize this Loft jumpsuit from my #dressingroomdiaries a few weeks ago. If you missed it, be sure to check the Try-On highlights on my Instagram profile. 90% sure I owned an identical version of this polka-dot and navy jumpsuit as an adolescent and I’m 100% sure I still love this pattern and style today.
It’s obviously a gem all on its’ own, but I’m here to help you kick up those basic pieces a notch. My sizing recommendation for this jumpsuit is true to size and size up if you are layering underneath. Little birdies told me this item is low in stock online, but be sure to check your local stores as well! Three ways starts in 3, 2, 1…
Wear it This Way for A Date Night
A perfect look for a fall date night before the temps really start to dip. To create a new neckline, I left the top button of the jumpsuit undone and then tucked the fabric into my bra cups.
Accessorizing with the millenium pink belt and handbag [both from Target] offer a subtle pop against the navy. Jewelry made simple with medium size hoops, two bracelets and a three-strand necklace I picked up a few years ago at the Banana Republic outlet.
I completed the look with a neutral block heel. I’ve been so in love with the block heel style this summer and am happy to carry it into my September looks and for under $40 to boot! Over the 4th of July, I featured this exact heel in red and today I am wearing the Kelly & Katie heel in Nude. I sized down .5 a size this time and the fit is much more satisfying.

Wear It This Way for A Fall Street Festival
One of my favorite things to do during weekends in the Fall is venture out to a street festival in downtown Louisville. Not only are there good eats + drinks, music and several blocks to stroll, there are typically local art vendors to support.
I love layering with this olive green vest by American Rag. It’s likely the most versatile item in my closet and I use it year round. Playing up the gold hardware on the vest, I added another gold necklace to the Banana Republic one seen above. Aviators and my brown felt fedora complete the look giving off a cool-girl hipster style.
My nude suede booties date back to 2015 and I still find myself reaching for them in the fall and winter. While the bootie does minimize the amount of leg shown, the heel height keeps the ensemble from frump-town.

Wear It Like This For The Office or Classroom
Call it Back-to-School Brain because I styled this look specifically with teachers in mind. This would make for a perfect Open House or Conferences look when meeting and greeting new, current and prospective families.
Not in the teaching profession? Rock this comfortable and classic look any day of the week at the office or when you particularly want to hit it out of the park during a big meeting.
Accessories are minimal with the appearance of a light pink statement necklace and two twist bracelets. Paired with my large black tote from H&M [perfect for those papers and a planner] and black suede round toe, block heel pumps make this look effortless.
