Labor Day In Lace
If you watched my Loft Dressing Room Diaries last Sunday, you must’ve known I’d be wrapping up this beautiful cream and lace blouse to call my own.

When it comes to must-haves, this blouse is shooting to the top for Fall/Winter 2018. Mentally, I am already pairing it several different ways over the coming cooler months. But…summer’s not yet over, my friends. This flowy lace blouse paired and black, blue, red, and cream shorts are begging to be worn to a Labor Day soiree.
I sized down in these side-zip shorts for the perfect fit. I would advise purchasing your usual size at Loft and for new-Loft lovers, size down. In my experience, Loft sizing is a little more generous than other retailers. I paid under $30 for these striped cotton shorts in store. If you’re shopping online, be sure to clip your coupon codes when adding to cart.
The Calvin Klein sandal had me at gold studded heel. There were a plethora of similar styles – some with heel straps, some lower [in heel and price point], but I couldn’t pass on these leather slip-on shoes. I found them in the clearance section for 20% off the price tag, however, DSW.com is only showing the taupe version as a discounted item.
I finished the look off with two multi-strand gold necklaces. I wanted the jewelry to pack a subtle punch and one just wasn’t enough. On my lobes, I am wearing a moderate size hoop. Tying everything together is my favorite H&M find – the black tote with gold hardware. Sadly, it’s long gone so I have linked several similar and affordable options to score the look.
The Blouse That Keeps On Giving…
I’ll be weaving this blouse in and out of looks over the coming months, but one I think will be especially chic in the winter. Hint: faux leather leggings. But first, we must football and fall.
Have an amazing Monday. A fresh week, a fresh sheet in the planner, and the perfect opportunity to make it happen.
