Hooray, it’s Friday and it’s a Friday Faves blog post day! It’s been a minute since I shared some of my favorite things with
The Complete Book of Home Organization

I stumbled upon A Bowl Full of Lemons years ago through Pinterest. I’ve pinned and pined over her organized rooms, but it wasn’t until last week that I purchased her book. Usually, I’m a kindle-worm, but I decided that this time, the paperback version would be worth the two-day wait.
After the first chapter alone, my life and home have become more manageable. Don’t believe it? I’ve done a load of laundry every day, wiped down my stove top, and cleaned my kitchen sink every evening.
Penciling in more time to read and reap even more of the organized benefits the book has to offer. Aside from the beautiful photos, Toni [abowlfulloflemons.net] offers a complete mindset shift with her tips and tricks.
Google Keep
Confession: I am forgetful. Ideas, tasks, and reminders leave my mind just as quickly as they enter. All the systems I have used, from pen and paper to calendar reminders, have failed me, that is until I learned about Google Keep!
My biggest issue with options such as pen and paper, calendar alerts, and notes is that there are not
The Google Keep interface looks like a digital cork board. Each note shows up in it’s very own box with a title, alert, and pinning capability. On top of everything, you can search your notes and photo notes by labels. The best part is that is cloud based so I can access these little jots from any device.
Current things I am keeping with Google Keep:
- Podcasts I want to listen to and notes from podcasts I am.
- My husband’s clothing and shoe sizes.
- Blog post and other blog related ideas
- A running list of my favorite things!
Moto Leggings

Hey, Moto. If that doesn’t bring you back to the early 2000 Motorola commercials, then you’re too young for me, bro. Just kidding. I’ve been pining for a pair of moto leggings for over a year, but the ones I had my heart set on were sold out. As I waited for the restock, I found this pair at TJ Maxx for a much lower price.
Since the fate of a similar TJ Maxx score is less than likely for you, shop the a roundup of moto leggings below.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Body
Thank you to Neutrogena for supplying the product and sponsoring this portion of today’s blog post. The experience with the product and all opinions are my own.

Remember on Wednesday when I told you about the velvet trend? It appears to skincare too. I have spent nearly 12 winters asking Taylor to itch my “wings” aka my shoulder blades which take the hardest hit when the weather dips.
The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Body products are exactly what my skin needs in the colder months. The lightweight gel-cream is not only feather-light, but it also leaves your skin feeling velvety smooth and hydrated. The Hyrdo Boost Body products all contain hyaluronic acid that holds up to 1000 times its weight in water. The unique whip of the powerful body balm goes on like a silk kiss and absorbs lightening quick, without any greasy residue.
While the products were gifted, the true gift is not clawing my back all winter long. Check out the full Neutrogena Hydro Boost product line in the shoppable widget below.

Air-Popped Popcorn

I’ve been air-popping popcorn since 2010 when I was “shedding for the wedding“. I became addicted to this low-cal treat, and have gotten back into the groove of nightly popcorn bowls.
I keep it flavorful with the addition of my 0 Calorie butter spray and the powder seasonings shown in the photo above. Over the years, I’ve given nearly every flavor a try, but my tried and true mix is always Butter, White Cheddar
1 cup of kernels makes nearly 10 cups of popcorn. It’s more cost-effective, lower in saturated fat and calories than microwave popcorn. Plus, it satisfies the hankerin’ for something salty without the added food guilt.

Happy Friday, Y’all! Things have been [and will continue to be] crazy busy for us on the weekends which significantly cuts down on my “office hours“. I promise those gift guides will hit the blog next week along with the Holiday Shop tab.
